In all honesty, this home appears to be "manufactured", not "modular". Setup for modulars is much different and usually requires a large crane to lift the various pieces into place.

Those of you who commented that modular homes like this are "unsafe" and "fire traps" need to do your homework. Modular homes are NOT the same as manufactured homes. Modulars are, in fact, built to the same (and in some cases more stringent) codes and restrictions as stick built homes. They therefore are just as strong and safe as any stick built home, and can withstand high winds and even tornadoes up to EF-2 strength. Many regular homes can't even match those standards!) Therefore please do some research before posting such rude and disrespectful comments. As for the owners of this beautiful home, CONGRATULATIONS!

CONCERNS FOUNDATION SHIFTING FOUNDATION . IT LOOKS LIKE THE WRITING SAID, MOVED IN ONE DAY. IM SURE THEY JACKED THE HOUSE WITH CONCRETE BLOCKS. NO TIME PUT IN TO CEMENT FOUNDATION , WITH SECTIONS FILLED WITH CEMENT ITS GONNA LOOK LIKE A FLOOR THEN THE HOME. AND CENTER BLOCKS AND THEN HOOKUPS . DIRT MOVE . ITS A SO SCARY TO SEE YOUR HOME LEANING DOWN ON THE DIRT. IT SINKS ON ONE SIDE THEN YOU GOT A MAJOR MAJOR NIGHTMARE. TEALLY DO YOUR HOME WORK WAY BEFORE YOU JUST PUT CEMENT BLOCKS

ps ... the ferry take 10, 15 min to cross but travels every 30 min on the hour accept in emergency situations on the 15 every half hour from needles side

you should see it now... ferry closed highway too 3 fires closing in and fauquier is evacuated. edgewood is on close watch of this fire jumping across. our way out is getting very thin in edgewood. i put water on my truck watching for new spots lighting up. reports of embers coming down and burning holes in convertible rags tops.... very unorganized here as far as information is concerned. too many drunks starting rumors. my view is from directly across the lake from the fire.

Ah, this beautiful lake! You always add nice music to your videos. In some of the recipe videos I have to turn off the sound, because the music is so annoying. In your videos it always fits the scenery and is pleasant to the ear.

Wow, they stay over winter in Canada? When we were living in the south of Sweden, we had a lot of Canada geese as guests. They also seemed to get along with the gray geese, which started to stay in southern Sweden and Denmark during winter. I love geese, they are very intelligent birds.

This is a manufactured home. Modular homes are delivered and set up on permanent foundations. Not tied down.
